Frequently Asked Questions
Is PPF the same as a Vinyl Wrap?
No. While a vinyl wrap is thinner and used primarily for changing the colour of a car, PPF is much thicker (usually 8 mils) and is specifically engineered for impact protection. PPF is almost always clear, though we do offer “Stealth” matte finishes.
Will the film turn yellow over time?
Not with our film. We use premium, UV-stable films from industry leaders like 3M and Avery Dennison. These are guaranteed not to yellow, crack, or peel, and they come with a multi-year manufacturer warranty.
Can I apply a Ceramic Coating over PPF?
Yes! In fact, we highly recommend it. A ceramic coating on top of your PPF adds an extra layer of hydrophobicity (water-shedding), making the film even easier to clean and stay glossy.
How long does the film last?
With proper care, a professional PPF installation will protect your vehicle for 7 to 10 years.
